Protection of employees against the effects of noise exposure is required by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).  Our staff can perform workplace noise monitoring to determine if a hearing conservation program is required under applicable regulations and provide assistance in implementing a program.  All noise projects are under the direction of a member of the Institute of Noise Control Engineering (INCE).

Contruction of new roadways, industrial facilities, and housing developments typically require the measurement of existing noise levels and projection of anticipated noise levels from the completed projects. Our engineering staff is experienced in performing baseline noise surveys and projecting expected noise levels for comparison with applicable Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) standards and guidelines.

Noise intrusion can be a significant problem in residential, commerial, and industrial areas.  Our staff can assist in determining the magnitude of the sound levels causing the problems and assist in finding solutions to reduce or attenuate the intrusive noise.
